I am here with a deep dive into a topic I have long been a promoter and cultivator of: Creativity. I don’t only mean the artistic creativity. I mean using creativity to solve problems, shape communication, approach new projects, and of course, use it for entertainment or artistic purposes. I wanted to discuss that being creative doesn't only mean to be an artist; for me, it means looking at a problem/challenge/your daily life differently, with fresh eyes and being insightful. I am having this conversation with a long-time friend of mine, Kathryn Deiss, who truly embraces creativity to the core of her being, exudes it to everyone who she has an experience with and is an expert on the subject both in her work and her other life roles. WELCOME FRIENDS! I am so excited to be launching Marlo’s Conversations with Friends: topics around WELL Being, where I spend time talking with friends of mine who have been in my life a long time and share passions around becoming a better WELL Being. I wanted to share with you the inspiration that I have experienced myself from these dear friends and colleagues as well as how I have tried their teachings on in my own life.
Let me say that for me, WELL Being is whole person gig. It includes your daily rituals - both self-care and otherwise, your frame of thoughts, emotions and the energy you give off, your hobbies and passions, your nutrition and foods, your lifestyle, your community of WELL Being and your relationship with the environment. And there are more, though these frame the foundation for me around being a better WELL Being.
These are audio only recordings, so you can take a walk and listen, clean the house and listen or simply get still and listen. Take notes physically or mentally or none at all. My hope is that you are inspired to take even one little micro percent of inspiration and try it on in your own life. And by all means, share this inspiration with your friends.
