WELL-BEING KIT
My friends, I am quite delighted to be with you on this new journey towards finding our new space of normal. As we navigate what each day is supposed to look like and how it is supposed to feel, I offer you a handful of WELL-Being Rituals to help you and/or your team feel some sense of ease and calm.
These daily ritual tools are designed to start and end the day for an individual or the team. I support what Dr. Stephen R. Covey shared in his book, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, that there is no work-personal life. We have one life with a number of roles that we all play and that if we are not filling up the role of YOU first, then you can be of no service to anyone else in your other roles.
So, I ask that you set aside ten minutes, or more if you like or have time, upon waking up. Do not reach for your smart device or computer. Instead, grab your coffee, tea or water and go find a quiet space where you can get still and focus on filling up YOU before life has its way with you. You’ll start with the Gratitude Starter cards and Affirmations for WELL-Being cards to set all of your intentions for the day. Then as you move through the day you can come back to these at any time, multiple times to get grounded again. You will end your day or major role of the day with the Life Savers & Life Suckers and Releasing the Day tools. The Rose Quartz gemstone heart is the overarching tool that guides you through each moment of the day from a place of Love and its manifestations. Then, get up the next day and do it all over again.
If you are using these tools with your team, I envisioned that you would start the day with a huddle, virtually or in-person, implement the Gratitude Starters, as well as the Affirmations for WELL-Being, both of which will invoke an uplifting energy for the day and serve as a place to get re-grounded in anytime throughout. When you end your day, or a team member ends their shift, use both of the Release the Day Rituals to help move into the next role in your life with fresh energy.
Use these tools as they best suit you and/or your team on this new journey to support what is already helping you move forward.

GETTING STARTED
Taking personal and professional inventory of oneself. How do you feel today? In the last week? What is your whole being telling you? How does your mind, body, soul feel? What do you feel in regard to your life, your job and those in it you share it with? What is your personal legacy? Do you even know your impact on the others in your personal and professional space? How conscientious are your actions with everyone? How effective are you in all the roles you play in this life?
These are just some of the questions we start asking here at Cultivate-You as we help individuals, leaders and teams develop a more meaningful impact in their life roles as well as become a better WELL Being in a WHOLE way.
INSPIRATION
What does inspiration look like to you? How do you feel when you are inspired? I find it all around me in nature, in art, in people, in food, in music, in movies, in all of life. I bring these findings to the learning space through interactive sensory experiences. I look to help people expand their perspective on how they see the world through mindfulness, being present, trying new things, letting go of habits and thoughts that may be holding you back. Sessions are custom created just for you or your group. It’s about changing behaviors one at a time towards more conscientious actions so that you can inspire others. Modeling the behaviors that support your principles so that you, your energy and your whole being shine!
WELL-BEING RETREAT
Join Cultivate-You, (LLC) WELL-Being experts Marlo Boyle, and Mariam Hannon on this foundational experience that will take you on a journey of trying-on many fun and realistic tools to implement on your wellness path. Learn about essential oils for whole body balance, nutrition for balance and energetics of food, caring for your skin, tea as WELL-Being, meditation, yoga and much more! Enjoy a beautiful setting and accommodations that include, meals made with local/organic ingredients, walking trails, labyrinth and welcoming staff to help you feel your most comfortable self.
Retreats are meant to be a journey mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. They are designed to feed your soul, your TRUE Self. You’re are also meant to travel to get to where the journey begins. So that means you might have to drive or fly or take the train and that’s OK. That’s part of the process, not a deterrent, though you may choose to see it that way and not all retreats are the same.
Some are active, some are passive, some are silent, and many are a blend of it all.Some are more foundational and basic than others. Retreats don’t all need to be intense, highly esoteric and philosophical or even physically rigorous to have an impact on an individual. Though being open minded to the experience is a requirement.You don’t have to tattoo anything to your arm that you learn at the retreat.You just need to try on new things, taste them.

DEVELOPING YOU - LEADER, TEAM OR INDIVIDUAL
Most of us are good at taking time during our careers to further our skillset and talents. What most of us are not so good at in the workplace is taking time to develop ourselves and how we relate to others; how we lead others and how we develop relationships with peers, employees or customers. During these custom sessions, we explore what it means to be a more effective human being in all that you do in your roles. We define what your values and principles are that help guide your every decision. We look at how you are responding to the activity that comes at you every single day – from people you know to those you don’t, to those that report to you and to your customers. We define what your personal legacy and mission is and how you use it to help guide your actions and both short, and long-term decisions. What does it mean to truly model the process of these guiding behaviors? Understand what building a relationship really looks like and how to sustain and grow it further. How to make sure that through every day your refilling your own self so that you are able to help fill others up. These areas and more are where the work begins in helping you become your most authentic self and to truly be a better WELL-being.
NUTRITION
Every physical body is different. What works for one person may not always work for another. There is no perfect diet. There is no magical spell that will make your body lose weight. There is only taking one step at a time to creating a healthy lifestyle that works for you and you alone. So, we chat one on one or in workshops. We start with where you are right now, and where you feel imbalance or inconsistency with your food and drink choices, lifestyle, stress levels, sleep habits and more. We discuss what’s working and what’s not working. We talk about what your relationship with food is and how your emotions steer your choices. We examine what good choices look like, taste like and what the best way to try them on in your life might be that is realistic and consistent. We also discuss what it means to eat with the planet in mind – local, organic, protein choices, plant-based choices, seasonally and energetically. The plan we create needs to work for your lifestyle. The goal is for you to feel good about the choices you are making to be a better well-being, and to have a full understanding of the impact that food has on your life.
ENVIRONMENT
How important is this beautiful planet Earth to you? What do you find inspiring about it? What do you know about the natural resources that we use extract daily and where they are used your life? What do you know about climate change? As a passionate environmentalist, I care deeply about the Earth, its resources, sustaining them and sustaining all living beings for lifetimes to come. I integrate information about the aforementioned into all of my sessions in some way, shape or form as I feel it’s important for people to make informed decisions. Everyone’s actions have an impact, and everyone can make decisions every day to keep our planet healthy, the people healthy and all of its ecosystem heathy. Many people don’t feel they are affected by climate change because they are lucky enough to live in an area where their resources are abundant and ever-flowing. I try to help shift folk’s perception, even just a little, to see things from a different angle, a different scenario or a different reality in the not too distant future. There is always hope and always a better way.

One-on-One Inspired Sessions around WELL-Being and/or any of the areas listed below. These are set up as private regular on-going appointments for a period of time and are customized based on clients needs.
Managing YOU & Your Energy in Any Space. Life, and everyone in it, throw’s things at you that may make you react with a knee jerk or words that you regret saying. When you look at how your energy and behavior affects the results in all that you do, you may find that you want to change WHAT that energy looks like and HOW you are projecting it out onto others. You cannot change people; you can only change yourself. When you learn how to align your intentions, thoughts and actions with your principles and values, then your responses get you results that are more positive and proactive for everyone involved. This inspired session takes you through understanding Life Suckers & Life Savers, responding to the stimulus, creating a personal legacy and putting it all into practice.
Daily WELL-Being: rituals & tools for the new journey
We forget to take care of ourselves too often. We think that eating well and going to the gym a few times a week are all we need to live a long life. This inspired session is designed to help you implement tools to create overall mind/body/spirit balance in each day as well as try-on daily WELL-Being rituals for longevity and a healthier lifestyle. Topics include the WELL-Being Kit, which you receive for the class, breath work, your relationship with food, self-massage, movement and much more! Come in loose fitting, relaxed clothes for easier movement. Bring a yoga mat or towel for some simple movements on the floor
Eating for Better Balance in Your Body. In this inspired session, we begin with food basics starting with mindful eating, gratitude and managing your energy when eating - including identifying what your relationship with food is. We then look at simple daily tips for eating that bring balance to your body overall, from when to eat, food categories, understanding seasonal eating, energetics of food & environmental choices along with adaptogens, recipes and more. Come join us for this informational session that will provide you with steps towards a more balanced body!
Aromatherapy: creating balance for mind, body, spirit. This hands-on session focuses on the history of essential oils/aroma, their place in one’s daily life and rituals to use them in as well as creating a wardrobe of scents to make each day match your emotional intention. Participants will leave with a custom aroma blend to enhance their daily rituals of wellness. Supplies will be required for class.
Ayurveda: the foundations for a daily way of life. Ayurveda is the ancient way of life, health and balance among the eastern Indian culture and over recent time, has become more widely known and used here in the west. Come spend the day learning about the foundations of this holistic way of living in balance with oneself – mind, body, spirit, and your surroundings. Discover what your Dosha is – your body constitution, how to support yourself when in balance and how to realign yourself when feeling out of sorts. Experience breathwork, simple yoga movements, food choices, meditation and other wholistic approaches to being in balance.
Being a Better WELL Being: nutrition, wellness implementation, whole living, mindful living – this is customized based on the needs and how much time; from 24hr to 2 full day retreats. Content for this session will be based on a need’s analysis with the client. Topics that can be covered in this session include but are not limited to: daily WELL-Being rituals, nutrition basics and understanding, energetics of food, local & seasonal food choices for well-beings, skin care, understanding Ayurvedic dosha & lifestyle, yoga, educational meditations. NOTE: for any retreats there will be a second trainer (contracted by Cultivate-You) co-delivering with Marlo and it is not negotiable and those fees are included in the overall retreat cost.
LEADER & TEAM DEVELOPMENT
7 Habits of Highly Effective People: foundations overview. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People has a strong emphasis on effectiveness in the workplace. Based on the best-selling business book by the same name, this one-day program experience provides the foundation to strengthen the human side of performance at the personal, managerial, and organizational levels in an overview format. This program equips employees with the tools and skills to work at the highest levels of effectiveness, both with and through others. The improved content helps build stronger organizations by strengthening and exercising the character and competence of the individuals within them. Workbooks are required to be purchased for this class.

Courageous Conversations. We all cringe when we know that a difficult conversation needs to take place with a team member. We can come to embrace these moments when we really look at them from a place of compassion. Courageous Conversations focuses on understanding what the dynamics of the chat are: getting grounded, preparing the message, managing our body language and tapping into empathy. Learn each component looks like and feels like and then spend some time practicing putting them all together for a compassionate and courageous conversation.
Be Inspired: building foundations – trainer skills beginning level. In this two-day hands-on session, learners will experience what it means to be an interactive inspiring learning leader. They will experience using all of their senses in a learning environment to engage participants, how to create inspired spaces for their learners to experience, the beginning skills to give a simple presentation and how to integrate discussions into learning.
Be Inspired: crafting the framework of inspired experiences – trainer skills intermediate level. In this two-day hands-on session, we build on the foundations class which is a pre-requisite. Learners will understand how to build an interactive presentation through lesson design, terracing information and engaging all learning styles. Participants will dive deeper into creating inspired spaces and understanding how the brain works to better understand how to meet the participants needs. They will give various types of presentations isolating the key skills needed as an Inspired Learning Leader.
Be Inspired: simply presenting. Need some help with your organizing thoughts in order to give a simply short presentation? Not sure if what you are saying is having any impact on the learner? Come spend the day to uncover the basic skills for creating a short 5min presentation only format. Learn how to design a very simple short presentation, understand how your voice & face all make a difference in how the words are received, and manage your energy so you can deliver with confidence.
