DEZ and I talk about Beauty is an Energy which is the mantra in her company’s vision, Civilian Beauty Grooming & Education. I love this topic because we explore what beauty really means to her as a hairdresser and service provider and how she embodies this principle with her guests. Beauty to me has been a hot topic all of my life because of the paths I followed from ballet to modeling & the fashion world to the salon and spa world, the epitome of where you go to “make” people look beautiful, which I have been a black sheep of sorts in.
